Confined spaces present unique safety challenges. When accidents occur the results can be catastrophic, not only for those present at the initial accident, but also for those attempting to rescue the victims. Proper education and training is the best defense for those who must work in confined spaces, and completing a certified training course is required by the Alberta OH&S Code and the OSSA (Oil Sands Safety Association).

MISAFETY's offers confined space training that can be provided onsite at no extra cost for workplaces within 100 km of Edmonton (minimum 6 students). Completing the OSSA Confined Space Entry and Monitor Training course certifies the worker for three years. The course combines a theoretical component and practical training with protective gear, rescue systems and testing equipment.
